I drove the Ridge Course yesterday in my MINI Cooper 'S'. Very nice road course was able to maintain a good speed during the 3 laps. The 2700' straight away is very nice for getting upto speed. We had 15 MINIs on the track and one CUDA. I can not wait until they get the corners done and the landscaping in.

Talking with the owner of the track, they plan on marquee days for various models. The track in built the amateur racer, it is 40' wide not the standard 36'. They are also building different parking/staging areas for road course and the 1/4 mile drag strip. This is so they can run events on both at the same time and not cause issues with the groups on each location. They have alot planned and I talked with the owner about a Camaro event in the spring and he is open to it. I offered to let him try out my ZL1 when it comes in.......

Even with the rain on saturday I was able to get over 100mph. On a dry day at PIR I got to 135.

If you want to, let me know I am the south area rep for the PNWCC (pacific Northwest Camaro club) & we can do an event there. are you a member of PNWCC? if so, I will be more than happy to have help doing that, if not still we can do one.
