RS wheel package question - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hi Everyone,

I apologize if this has been asked previously as I tried searching for this. I see on the camaro website on chevy when you upgrade to the RS package, you get the black wheels. I was wondering since the majority of SS/RS I have seen so far do not have the black wheels, is this just b/c they were done before production ? My dealer said the SS/RS comes w/the black wheels, but since they have been so misinformed on everything so far I figured I'd ask the experts

They are not black they are midnight silver.

The chevy website is a bit off. They are "midnight silver." The website makes them look black but in real life they aren't that dark. Some good pictures of the midnight silver wheels in this thread... http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...=17568&page=14

You can change the wheels if you'd like and still get the RS pkg...but yes those are the wheels that come with the RS option.

they have the correct wheel they just aren't as dark in person as on website. If you look around here u can find close ups of actual midnight silver wheels. They are basically a greyish color definately not black it's sorta misleading.

Wow thanks for the feedback guys! So the wheels I was looking at are the wheels on the car, they do not look midnight at all.....I might change back to the polished....I think my dealer is going to kill me for changing my mind 3x in 1 day LOL

They are dark silver not black. Almost like a charcoal gray. They're hot!

I'm such an idiot, now I am thinking about staying w/the silver ones....decisions decisions....Guess I should sleep on it a day

sleep on it over a couple days. Just make sure your dealer tells when your number is up so you can make last minute changes.

I went back and forth several times before settling on Midnight Silver wheels
