Describing Ashen Gray
I have ordered a ZL1 in Ashen Gray and am excited about the color even though the closest approximation of what it will look like is the Carbon Edition that was shown here on C5. Today, I had several friends ask me what color my new car would be. When I replied Ashen Gray, I got a totally blank look back. Ashen Gray sounds the way you would describe a very sick person! I ended up telling them it was a rich dark gray with reflectant metallic flakes.

Wouldn't showing a photo of it work a lot better? Also from what I can see Ashen Gray has more of a brownish tinge to it than Cyber Gray Metallic.
Ashen Gray Metallic  Cyber Gray Metallic  Edit nevermind that: Unless I see Ashen Gray in person I won't be able to give a true opinion. I do remember though that CGM has a lot of blue in it so if that counts for anything. I guess it's like Inferno Orange, most people will think it's red unless they see it in person. |

I have the Cyber Grey, I am very interested at some point to put mine beside an Ashen Grey to see 1st hand the colour difference live and in person.
