Official Wave

New dude here. Did a quick search on "wave", "official wave", "official+wave" and closest I found was a thread on a member was P.O.'ed that a pace car owner would not wave to him. Wondering if enthusiast Camaro owners wave at each other?

Had a Corvette and my wife was amazed at the number of waves we got whenever we took the car out. Kinda hoping the Camaro crowd is the same? I've only clocked about 120 miles, most in the dark. What has been your experience?

Welcome to the site! Nice looking Camaro enjoy the ride.

As far as a wave I usually wave but don`t always get a return wave,
heck sometimes I get the stink eye in return.

Same thing with some Vette drivers.

We got a wave but you have to do it properly. It's the pageant wave. Hint: make sure to lower the windows and wave em high.

We wave...

I think the blind spot effects most, and the glare from the window. If you do not get a return do not take offense. They are probably new to their car and have not overcome the newby feeling of "oh shit, this is awesome"!

Threre seem to be just a handful of us that wave at each other here in central DE. The rest don't seem to give a care, but hey to each their own.

(I'm sure they will want some "Camaro Love" if I end up pulling them over)

Welcome!!! I rarely even see another Camaro on the roads I travel. But, when I do.......... no wave. :( I did get a wave the other day from a guy walking on the path by the road. Not sure what that was about?

When I lived in the south waving was normal! I don't drive my Camaro everyday, but when I do, I do try to wave at the other ones.
And wecome!
