Do you want to replace the entire BA system or just add a subwoofer to the existing system?

call ******** and talk to them, he can set you up, or at least get you headed down the road.

I'm not sure ******** has any of the FARK's left. They seem to go pretty quick. If he has them, I'd order one of those A.S.A.P.

Getting the factory amp out helps A LOT. If you do the FARK, you will need a good multi-channel amp (and possibly a second mono amp for the sub, depending on the multi-chan amp you go with).

What kind of budget are you working with? There are some amazing deals to be had this time of year. Its a good problem to have when your looking at upgrading.

If a JL W7 wont fit, I dont think a Solo X is will either. Their box requirements are pretty hefty also. I dont have any Kicker manuals at the shop but you might want to look it up.

I could probably make a solo x work. Have to check a few things but if I remember right, they are not nearly as deep as the w7.

Its not so much the depth that will get you. You need at least 2.25 minimum ported, but ive never got a Solo X sounding decent until about 3.5 ported. It can be done though because theres about 5 cubic feet of space to use and not give up the entire trunk. Next problem youre gonna face though is power. X's take a RMS of 2500 watts which means you'll need to at least upgrade your battery if not add one to it.
