I would have expected more with your mods....but I think its okay. I know a guy pulled 240 with his stock V6 Manual in our club.

Sounds a bit low to me. That's a 24% loss from the crank.

I ran about 261 on the dyno with just a K&N at the time.

It is a bit on the lowside...but you shouldn't be too discouraged as all dynos read differently. Some low and some high.

Ideally, the dyno should be used as a measurement tool...dyno at stock, and dyno after mods and compare...and then compare again after more mods.

The other wrench in this deal is that air temps play a HUGE role in the LLT's performance, so dynoing in the winter and then again in the summer is not a good way to compare.

I was at 252 hp wth my vararam, TB, bbk lt and hfc, but my fuel trims were really screwed up, after that issue got fixed, the car seemed to gain quite a bit of power. Plus as KM mentioned , all dynos are different and temps play a lot into the numbers. If you took the car to another place, you would probably see different numbers.

Going to get another dyno in a few months to see how much I really gained

I would say it's a bit on the low side for a DynoJet... but like others have said don't get hung up on dyno numbers as compared to others... KMPrenger nailed it on the head...

Just check out the dyno sticky.. chassis dyno was designed to measure the difference between mod to mod, or one change to another. It was never meant to give you an "actual" power figure of what your car is currently making, although some dynos do produce numbers more on the correct side. You can come out of a dyno run with 200hp or 280hp, both would be considered normal for a "dyno" number.

Your number is on the lower side though, but don't worry about dyno numbers. Remember, it's only a tool to measure the difference your mods are making.

Is it 248x dynojet?

Seems low. I thought stock was pulling around 250 at the wheels.

How did they do the pulls? Back to back? Was the car cold when they first put it on the Dyno? There can be a big difference between cold and up to temp... Ok, so my Camaro was put on the dyno pretty cold. We did back to back pulls. We didn't hit the peak number until the 5th pull!!! Check out the difference between cold and hot:
