2edge Performance Spark Plug wires Beware!!

Just to put the word out there I had a set of the 2edge HP Plug wires ...and after 6,000 the car started to run ruff and started to miss...I drove it for a month thinking I had bad gas......Did a fuse pull and went to the dealer twice. but because it didnt have a check light they did'nt do anything.....Well last weeked finnaly I had the light!!!! By MUSTANG!!! buddy check it out and found that my $135 wires are junk!!! they were falling apart as we pulled them off ..they had cracks and were just plain SHIT!!! so if you have these and your car has a loss of power and staring to miss get rid of the wires.....Right now Im running a 49$ pair of durlast......and the car runs great!!!

Sorry you went through that =/ Always a fear of mine so I always stick to the proven vendors, even if the cost is higher.

The old pep boys hp stock bosch replacements on the old 98 worked great. No different then the aftermarket, but after market wires wont do much on a street ar unless more current is getting to the plugs then before where they are needed.

I saw them and they were falling apart in our hands and Don doesn't even have headers.
Teach you to keep your old parts. haha-
I have nothing bad to say about Chris at two edge though. Seemed like a good guy, just made some crappy wires and now he is not around to warrantee them.
I almost bought some myself, but glad I didn't now.

Well its not the best picture of them, but it will get the point across. Don and Michael were able to diagnose the problem through an SCT handheld tuner at the track and the number 4 wire had a hole right through the bottom.

Don is a stand up guy and very active in the Camaro 5 community not to mention a member of the So Cal Camaro5 Race Team and H-Team. His car was featured on the Car Show as well. Its unthinkable that a company who is regrouping under a new name (Previous 2Edge) and an individual (Chris) who goes on crusies with us has not responded to this. Especially with someone and a car as well seen as "Mary Jane". I know Don tried several forms of communication with him.

It was cool however being at the track that day and watching a Mustang guy help out a Camaro guy, have to give Michael major Props.

I am looking at mine today. I think you should post this in the main forums under the engine section. I am sure others bought these wires and have something to say. But him going out of business MAY be a sign. I to paid 125.00 plus 27.00 it cost me to get them shipped which I thought was to much but he charged my card and sent them before I found out.

Keep us informed if you hear anything else.

I have the Blue ones also

P.S. his website is no longer either...
