Question Afterburners wiring install?

Hey everyone in about to install the afterburners on my car. Everything is back on the only thing im missing is the wiring part. I ordered my afterburners and the box came with a disk with videos of how do do the install but it didnt show me how to wire them in. Does anyone know???

You tab into the purple wire that is going to the back of the tail light. Very easy to do.

They are SDM's (LED's) and each afterburner LED has a black and red wire. Which do i tap into the purple???

Do you still have to cut the wire that turns on the taillight?

From what I remember you're supposed to basically kill the taillight so that you only see the LED lights. They wanted you to cut the wire to the plug. That's what turned me off of the idea.

You don't have to cut any wires. You do however have to trim one of the pins on the light bulb. Trimming the pin disables the parking light.

Correct, you have to trim the inside lead of the tail light bulb. I just got my done yesterday.

The result will be like below (afterburners on for parking/driving lights and brake lights will show when u tap the brakes)

Huh!!!! I just did mine yesterday and i didnt cut anything. I just tapped into the wires. I'll post some pics in a bit
