You want to know what im really worrying about?

Ive seen threads on manual vs auto, v6 v8, ect ect, but none of that will matter to me if i cant fit in the car in the first place! For a guy that is 6 foot 4 and change, i haven't been able to comfortably sit in many cars, much less nice convertibles. Tried sitting in the solstice once, felt like half my head was above the glass. So you think GM is keeping us tall guys in mind when building this thing?

I don't think so, you're screwed to say the least. No GM designer will think about tall dudes, i believe so. I'd rather be tall as you, instead of feeling comfy inside Camaro.

Says who?

I've heard of 6 footers...and even 6' 2" guys being able to fit in the coupe okay during test drives...can't give you any links, though, Mtron...I can't rememeber where I read/saw it...

but if it's any consolation... they are raising the roofline a fraction of an inch

There are a few guys here who've sat in the Camaro, they can give you a lot more input.

I haven't sat in it, but the vert was at Alameda, CA and I was withing inches of it. There's more than enough head room for me and I'm 6'5". I HIGLY doubt you'll have any problem.

GM has had that problem in the past with the corvettes. I could fit VERY comfortably in a Miata because it's all leg room, but I couldn't fit my legs under the sterring wheel of a few of the 80's corvettes.

The camaro is more then wide/tall/long enough for us taller folk to sit in.

I'm 6'5" as well and have no qualms about being able to fit in the new Camaro. It won't be anything like the 4th gen, that's for sure. Last time I checked (over a year ago) I was OK in the Mustang, which is around the same size. This car has be be able to accommodate American sized folks being that it's aimed squarely at the home market.

Well I'm 6'3", but I've got short legs. I fit in just fine in the Saab 9-5 I have now and from what I've seen from pictures I think I'll fit fine into the Camaro. Will probably be a bit easier for me to get in what with the doors that go further back.

I'm 5'11", and was fortunate enough to be able to sit in the coupe. There was plenty of headroom still available.

I also feel the designers do take into consideration the height of taller folks...and don't forget, the production version will have a slightly higher roofline than the concept.

But we must remember, Solctice is not a Camaro...it's a compact, little roadster.
The camaro is...what would it be classed under? a mid to full-sized coupe?

Nah, don't worry about hieght. I'm about 6' 1", and there's at least 4 inches still above my head in the Cobalt...

If Shaq can have his Ferraris, then tall guys everywhere sure as hell can have their Camaros.
