Plasti Dip Issue
Hey guys. Trying to paint my chrome bezels black with Plasti Dip. I couldn't find any how-tos on painting them. Found plenty on removing them. Anyway, I'm on my third coat now and it looks like this... not too great. What am I doing wrong and is there a way to fix this stuff without ripping it all off and starting over? Looks like I put too much on and it puddled in the corner, but I don't know what would cause those bubbles.

I had someone say they did their's with 1 thin coat and 2 thick coats. It ended up well, but I guess we have different definitions of thick coats. lol. I read through your post, Stieger, and will definitely come at this a better way. Haha. Thanks! Thank god it's removable.
What's the best way to have the bezels? Just laying clip side down on a towel or something? How far away should I hold the can?

Peal it off for sure. Dude this stuff dries in like 5 min with light coats. It will take literally 30 min to do it again

Wow. Awesome. I just went to Lowes and bought the rest of the cans. lol. That's 5 in the last two days. I can see myself using this a good bit once I get the hang of it.

Well that ended up taking far too long for me to get right. lol. I could do it again in no time now that I've figured it out, but I kept messing it up somehow. I was doing FAR too much in one coat. They turned out pretty decent I think. Too dark for pics right now, but it's nothing you haven't seen already. Haha

It also helps if you invert the can and spray real quick every once in a while. This clears the nozzle of any plasti-dip that's built up there.
