I'm not sure anyone has an answer for you right now, but generally it may take more than 12 minutes to get a response to your question.
If they do anything like SLP did with the SS parts, you'll only be able to get, say, the RS spoiler if you have a VIN for an SS or a V6 with the RS package. I have no idea whether this'll happen, though.

LOL - His posts are several days apart.
Call your dealer, he may be able to give you some better information about parts availability.

I ordered a 1LT and asked my dealer if I could purcahse the spoiler for the car at a later date, they said no problem!!
The body shop at the dealership would just have to paint it and install it! I plan on getting the spoiler added to my baby as soon as she arrives!!!! |

don't see why it would be too much trouble to get. all you'd need to do is get the part number. i'd recommend going through a site like crateenginedepot.com or gmpartsdirect.com vs. going to a dealer, they're normally much cheaper and sell gm parts. if its anything like the cobalt spoilers, you can get most colors prepainted, and they'll have no problem selling anyone the spoiler from the highest model (hence all the cobalt ls's with the high rise ss spoiler)

In case you guys weren't aware of the fact that Factory RS optioned cars will have the decklid already pre-drilled from the factory,so if you want to add the spoiler to a non-RS equiped Camaro, you will have to drill holes in the decklid...or,buy a pre-drilled decklid from the parts department then have it painted and installed.Your looking at about $700-$800(decklid,paint,labor)
![]() It's too bad GM decided to arrange the options the way they did.I just wanted a spoiler on my 1 LT Camaro, and 20" polished rims.Instead of $650 worth of options,it cost me $1,750 Hopefully GM in the future will make the spoiler a seperate option, and the 20" wheels.I think they would sell alot more Camaro's that way
