I've been starving here in Europe for the past few months, as the unfavorable exchange rate makes it too expensive to eat more than a little pasta and some bread twice a day. For Thanksgiving our study abroad office catered a huge lunch, and for dinner the American students splurged and created a fantastic pot luck dinner (apparently we have the finest collection of cooks you've ever seen in a group of college students. It tasted just like home.) Now my metabolism, which had gotten used to eating next to nothing, is all confused again, and now I'm always hungry.

Eat like a pig? Sure. The biggest thing I look forward to during the holidays is my whole month of vacation in December.
