Looking for a road course
I am getting my 2012 SS back from the tuner next week and I am dying to get out on the road with it. I have a set of custom wheels and tires on the way, 9.5 front and 11 rear, and when I get them installed I want to get out on the track. But I want to get on a road course to see how good this car will handle. My question is does anyone know a road course that I can run on? I am in south georgia and know of plenty of drag strips I can open up on but I have no idea where any road tracks are at. Anybody know of one I can get on?

Carolina Motorsports Park is just outside Lancaster SC. Probably a 2:30 hr ride for you? About an hour for me.

I am guessing that would be about 300 miles for me so around 5 hours. I will check it out though, that may be one of my closest options. Thanks for the info.

Looking at the options on Road Atlanta, that is a good possibly. Only 3 hours or so to get there. Thanks for the info.

Check out www.seat-time.com for Roebling Road, Seat-time is a great company to do racing with, very laid back, you will get the most seat time with them, they have a 2 day event coming up the 1st weekend in April, I will be there running my vette.

I looked into seat time and it seems like a pretty good deal. I may give that a shot after I break my car in.
Tracksunlimited looks like a good option to but it is not quite as close as Roebling. But that gives me a lot more driving time to and from so that will be extra fun... modcam |
