Bolt on best before blower 12.22@113.29 w/ nothing but ARH headers, catted x-pipe, ADM CAI and a tune on stock Pzero`s!

Other car 2008 C6 Ls3, z51, A6, Npp Exhaust, best bonestock pass 11.80@118.82, Number 2 on the Corvette Forums Bonestock fastest list..

9lbs is a good start and enough for most drivers and especially a street car.

Question on the ZL1 boost .......have any of the current owners noticed any transition into boost? Meaning , can you feel the car jump into boost or is it a linear power climb?

Just wondering how GM has worked the vacuum and boost control on/off issue that are prone to most superchargers and somewhat with the TVS2300 (I realize the ZL1 has a 1900 version).

I can't tell...

It does have a solenoid-controlled bypass valve to regulate when the boost comes in.

When you're cruising around town with anything less than 1/3 - 1/2 throttle, it seems to be sucking vacuum...when you put your foot down, you can watch the boost needle swing pretty quick...but it's all very smooth, even then.

There's no lurch....no hesitation in lower revs...and consider that 90% of the time you can't here the supercharger, you may as well think there's a big block under there...

I can't tell real clearly with the butt dyno...except that the torque band really swells between 2400-2800 rpms - and it maintains that pull...

It has a solenoid-controlled bypass valve to regulate boost, and slightly over boost when using no-lift-shift.

Cool and thanks for that review!

I have an Eaton/TVS2300 Magnacharger with a similar vacuum/solenoid controlled bypass but still have a strong serge into boost (like a switch is turned on). Mine is mild and Magnacharger does a great job compared to some boosted cars that I have been in with Kenne Bells and ProChargers.

I am currently working on installing a custom "boost controller" in addition to the stock controller to eliminate the strong transition....which on a straight road can be fun but on a corner, can be unnerving to say the least

I have not been in a CTS-V or a ZL1 yet to feel it and sounds like GM has done a great job on this....and I am looking forward to getting my own soon
