25mm Mace Insulator instal questions

So i ordered the 25mm insulator but im confused as to how the install goes. Do the bolts have to be tightened to a certain tq? how easy is it overall? too hard for someone who hasnt worked on engines much??

I'm sure others will chime in soon but I'm pretty sure the bolts are supposed to be 18lbs of torque. Any more than that and you might cause some damage.

Here's a link to the Plenum Spacer thread

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=216432

and the Insulator thread

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=188097

All of the answers should be there...or closeby

I have all three (intake manifold, plenum spacer, insulator) on order and plan on doing a install video/pics and tutorial when they come in

We have some preliminary instructions for installing these spacers on an LLT, which can be downloaded from the link below

http://www.mediafire.com/?96jmauez33xrr8b

Given that you guys are installing these on a Camaro's I would treat this as more of a guide as it will be easier to install these on a Camaro give the higher bonnet/firewall space

Also make sure you use sealant on both sides, which isn't clear on the instructions

Hope this helps,

Kindest Regards,
Steve
