Sports mode 2013 2lS

Ok i been trying to figure out how to put my car in sports mode.. Seem like chevy took this feature away with the 2LS model due to the 2.92 GW8 axle.. I am kinda pissed now.. If i put the car in M mode it just allows me to adjust the top gear limit with fully automatic gear selection..

Since i don't have sports mode what are my options? I am thinking about trading this car in and getting 1LT.. I got the car 08/02/2012 with 11 miles on it and i have 3,000.00 miles on it to date mostly interstate and highways miles..

I just want the damn thing to respond to me when i get on it.. Damn the camaro has let me down...

tune your car?
I thought sport mode was always only on SS's and i dont realy notice a big difference in sport mode on my car, it still doesnt always down shift to the lowest gear it could, and i dont notice any increased shift point/shift firmness, but i still do use it

so a tune would solve my problem? how much would a sports tune cost that does not void the warranty?

Well I am going to Supercharge or turbo mine which will come with a ECM and TCM tune. Then I am also going to swap my rear end with an SS rear end and get better gears. This will give me better gas mileage than an SS with more power. This is also my wife's car so I will be buying an SS soon. Waiting to see what the 6th gen looks like before I buy one.

As far as a tune goes it will void your warranty if they can point to it as the cause of whatever problem you try to get covered under warranty.

It isn't available only on the SS it is across the line for all automatics. Once you hit the paddles it will put you into a gear to match your current speed etc. If you don't hit them you should be in Sport by default.

2010-2012 have different gear ratio then me so you have sports mode. I have GW8 Axle 2.92 ratio which does not include sports mode..

2012 and up 2LS models DO NOT have a sport mode. Chevy claims it is due to the 2.92 axle ratio. I knew this going in and still chose the 2LS as I plan on changing the rear axle out and tuning the ECM and TCM for FI anyway. However, I think Chevy dealers need to inform people of this when they are interested in the 2LS because alot of people do not know it doesnt have a S mode and that it has a lower axle ratio.
