radio/navigation

just curious if anyone has replaced there factory radio with a system with built in gps. trying to find out if there is a system like mylink for my 2010 camaro. gps is a must. HELP.thanks.

yeah, I checked it out not really giving me the answer I want. I was hoping to replace the radio and keeping the boston acustic. I thought there might be a plug and play radio out now.

there are several head units that will fill your needs. check out kenwood units

There are several GPS head units out there. Problem is, currently.they all require replacing the HVAC system... there are 3 kits out there for that now; Metra, Scosche and alpine (basically; same as Scoshe). All three have horror stories and ppl who love them. It's not a cheap upgrade either... looking between $1500 and significantly more depending on your taste. There supposed to be something new coming out that's compatible with the Kenwoods soon, and may keep your factory HVAC controls... not entirely sure on that tho...

But to answer your question... yes. Sure is. Pioneer Avic and Kenwood 9990hd are the most popular.
