loooking to put a louder muffler on my ss

can anybody recommend something with some sound .my escalade is louder then my ss . looking for somthing not to expensive but good ,

i heard

I am torn between the Hush Power pro series and the Borla's ? anyone have a chance to hear multiple muff's?

someone had straight pipes welded in place of the mufflers and said it sounded very mean and not too loud due to the 3 or 4 cats and resonators the car has... I have borla on an LS2 corvette and it sounds great. I bet it would be very similar. I agree the LSx cars are TOOOO quite out of the box.

I would say for sure if louder is all you want, put a pipe or small mufflers in place of stockers.

my parts manager at my dealer told me today to go with slp or gm ..he said that gm recommends these so no problem with warranty .

just got back from muffler shop they are going to cut off mufflers and put pipes to existing tips .they will be welded .slp #31211 is the same concept . they will send you 2 pipes with tips welded on allready and then you just flange it on with what ever they send you same concept for 250 dollars more .im paying 200 dollars for some noise

just got it done today cut out mufflers and added pipes with existing tips . it took the guy about 2 hours .a little trickey lining everything up .i paid 200 well worth it .if you go and buy the slp loud mouth for 400 bucks it is the same thing just with new tips so far so good .and the best is everybody thinks you paid alot for a whole system . little do they know . i give it a thumbs up as of now
