i say no..
my reasons: 6'-4" (interior headroom) lose the reverse mohawk opens over the roof not internal. easy decision.

Do what makes you happy. But if you already have one with no sunroof then get other one with sunroof. Since couldnt get T-tops or convertible went with sunroof. I love it. I also have IOM 2SS wish was RS also. But when you get it post pictures of them both together. So which ones going to be yours?

I originally wanted a sunroof after having one on the 10+ cars I've owned/leased. If ordering I would've added it. When I test drove the 2LT RS I now own I didn't miss the sunroof at all. I thought the cabin might be too dark especially with black leather but it wasn't. I know the reverse Mohawk is so right on this car & don't regret the choice. It also doesn't hurt that my wife has a Pontiac G6 GT Hard-top Convertible which is so great we'll consider keeping it after the lease ends in 2 years - unless the Camaro Convertible is produced !
As said many times before throughout this site it's what makes you happy...

Headroom is altered with the sunroof. I'm ~6', and when sitting up properly, my relatively short hair was just barely brushing the roof liner.
![]() I like the reverse mohawk too much, so -- no sunroof, imo. BUT -- like it's already been said...pick what YOU want. (just try and sit in one first...make sure you fit). |

The V8 will be mine or for both of us as a secondary vehicle. The V6 will be a daily driver for my wife. Right now we both are driving it, but her mostly I have been playing around with it on the weekends.

I have the sunroof on my 2SS. I like the natural light. Other than that, when you have it in the 1st position (venting) the air noise is very loud. When fully open it is not bad. I had it up to 136 MPH with roof full open and it held up well.
Go for it! |

I use my sunroof all the time. I'm very glad that I included it in my order.

Without is stronger body and will crash better IMO*. Not saying it's safer but... it probably is depending on the type of crash. It's one reason I want one vs my vette which is about the worst flex of any GM ever built (targa's blow).
The mohawk gives it's even more +STR. |

Camaro sunroofs 'cock-up', right?
In the out n' up position I think the sunroof gives Camaro that 'rakish' flair. Nice to look up, especially when parked and admire that view. That said, the added structural rigidity, in the absence of a sunroof does have its own perks. Either way; stunning vehicle. |
