Opinions on font for "THR SS" - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I want to paint "THR" in CGM and "SS" in blue on the side of the cowl for my hood.

This is the design sent to me. I think the "/" should go. Also, I think the THR is good, but the SS appears to be the SS from a 4th Gen. I'd prefer the SS font that's already on the car.

Any and all opinions are welcome. And, if anyone has photoshop and wants to play with the font, go for it.

Use the slanted "SS" on the 5th gen. Looks much better.

THR "space" SS.... Keep the 5th Gen font like your blue SS

also +1 on losing the "/"

Change the SS to 5th gen style. The rest looks good. I could live with or without the /.

I also agree the SS is lame, get the current logo on there and its good without the slash

I agree, use the new SS font and get rid of the "/" between them. The current THR font looks ok, and would probably match the new SS. Also, I think the SS should be red (or red with a white border?)... something to make it stand out from the THR.

THR will be painted in cyber gray metallic and SS will be painted in the same wave blue metallic as my bow ties, SS's, and pin stripes around the hockey's and hood stripes.

+1 - bring the "SS" closer into the THR after you dump the slash. I agree with others to try and find the current "SS" font.

agree...the "SS" used actually looks small next to the "THR"...whether it's the 5th gen "SS" you choose to use, or not, i'd find a more masculine "SS"
