HELP on Color - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I am going to be ordering my 2010 camaro again tomorrow i have a allicated slot with a dealship and i can not decide on color of my camaro. I have decided between 3 colors Victory RED, Inferno Orange metallic, and then Imperial Blue Metallic, I was leaning towards RED, but what do you all think. my plan is to get a 2LT/RS with polished rims

If I had those 3 choices, I would pick IBM. I wanted ABM or RJ, and decided on ABM. I'm not really a red person. It's your call!

inferno orange with the black hockey stripes... just my $.02

I kind of ruled out the IOM because some of the pic on the forum showed the paint not matching with the plastic orange bumper.

Color is a personal choice.

Check out the various threads such as "Official IOM Owners Thread" There are many great pics of all the colors. I ordered IOM, I am also partial to RJT.

My first new car was a 1971 Hugger Orange SS Camaro. My wife

tells me I'm trying to recreate my youth and she is probably right.

You cannot make a bad choice. Good Luck!

Yeah color is a personal choice i have just had a red car for so long i thought it would be a nice change. I was leaning toward red until i seen the IOM, yet there were some issues with the paint not matching Which kinda worried me it wouldnt turn out right. Then the IBM is not so popular so i what trying to see what people thought. I have done so much research on this car i just ran into this situation.

I love Red, but the current Red just doesnt cut it for me, not vibrant enough....
I would probably get the IOM instead because its the the most vibrant color they got.
The IBM is very dark... almost black looking, unless youre in the sun.

IBM is my personal favorite, but I think IOM looks great too.

I'm not so crazy about RJT.

I'm planning to order VR 2SS RS--so my vote is for the Victory Red!! Its a color that was on the originals back in the day!!

You need to try to see all of them in person.
Pics do not do these cars justice!

I like all of the colors, but silver is totally bad ass

orange was in the mix for me, but what changed my mind was i didnt get to see it in person and didnt know if it would get old. With what you have left i would go with red with black ralley stripes, that color will always pop

Go with your gut! My wife and I both are going to have one and as you see we have the SIM already in a 2LT RS. The one I ordered for me is a 2SS and in SIM as well. I know it is crazy but I figured my wife will sale hers in a couple of years and I will wished I would have gotten the SIM since it is my favorite color. If there is any color that you keep gravitating back to, that is the color you need to go with as that will be the color you wished you would have gotten in the long run....

Our SIM 2LT RS...

Here are a couple of pics of the IOM and CGM I could have bought but passed on and kept my SIM 2SS on order. My dealer had these come in within the past 3 days and he had called me to let me know they were available. I was very tempted but knew deep down the SIM was my color....so go with your gut

It was very hard to walk away from both of these colors, especially due to them being available right then and I would not have to wait on the SIM.

IBM is very dark...the one I saw in bright sunlight was nearly a dark purple! Beautiful color for sure but it is a dark, dark color!

I'm not too fond of IOM.

VR is very nice looking color as well and those polished wheels will look great on there (seen a 1LT/RS with polished wheels and it was stunning!)

Your choice though and I'd suggest you look around the lot tomorrow before you order at the colors on other cars or if possible, Camaros!
