GFX Molded on ?

Hi all, I am a new user, but not new to the site.. I have been visiting this site since the launch of the new Camaro learning, all that I can ever want to know... Unfortunately, I have a question that I cannot seem to find an answer too... I was wondering if anyone has molded the GFX kit to their car? (making the lines of the GFX kit disappear on to the body of the car) I personally think this makes a kit look stalk and unmodified. Let me know as I really wanted to see one with this done.

It really isnt a good idea. Two different materials with different expansion rates, some day it will crack. Also if you wreck her the reapir cost will kill you. Now to do it right pay a fabricator to make steel panels and weld them on.

It's the same material and it can be done. To do it properly, you would have to plastic weld the GFX into the rear fascia (both sides) and then use bumper filler to smooth everything out.
