i met a local camaro5 board member this afternoon at the local Maryville car show at the mall. Super nice guy and he actually asked if i wanted to take a spin with him in his new super sweet IOM camaro SS. i had test drove a v-6 at the local dealer and loved it. I want to say i was absolutely blown away with the power of the SS. I was speechless and i have to say the inferno orange is stunning in person. I was so excited to finally ride in a v-8. Mad props to 'rockytophummer' from this board as he was gracious enough to allow me a ride in the car. Too bad my wife and son were in the mall at the time, but they saw the permagrin i had. I know now that it will be a longer wait than expected for my car. I have a rally yellow 2ss on order and it is killin' me to wait this one out. Any doubters on the power of the v8 will erase when u get to drive one.

WTB ride. My wife got to ride in one while I was at work one day, she made the decision to buy. I have only driven the V6 model, I want to ride in the SS.

I thought it was cool to actually get a chance to meet another Camaro5 member and once he introduced himself I was more than happy to let him see what it was like riding in a 2SS since he was waiting on his to be built. Light My Firebird is really cool person. If there is any other Tenn. Camaro5 members then PM me or come to our local mall Foothills Mall on Fri. Nights for the little car show they do every Fri. Night. and say hi. Its nice to meet fellow enthusiasts!
