GM military discount

Well, after placing my order at Robbins Chevrolet for my 1LT RS IBM on 6/30 I contacted USAA to look into insurance and loans and such...They informed me that GM military discount applied to the 2010 camaro so I checked it out and sure enough...military pricing is about 950 less than MSRP, which I ordered at after a long hassle. The USAA $750 incentive does not however...I went up the dealership and gave my salesman my authorization code and other paperwork showing the GM discount...My question is has anyone else used this discount already? Also, I was on active duty until May 3 but am now in the inactive ready reserve for the marines, the GM doc says open to all active duty for all branches and all reserves. I have a valid military id card just wondering if being inactive reserve will disqualify me. Waiting on approval from the general manager

Good luck to you, but just because a vehicle qualifies for a discount doesn't mean the dealer has to participate. If you got it for MSRP, be happy.

I was very happy to get it at MSRP but any breaks I can catch on price I'm going to pursue...The dealership doesn't have to participate but this is texas...not california
