DaJags85 2013 Camaro 2LS
I purchased a black 2013 2LS less than 2 weeks ago. I'll post some pictures sometime this week. I plan on making a few changes and then leaving it alone for the most part. This is my first Camaro and the only new car I've ever owned. With that being said, I have limited car knowledge aside from anything gained while researching the Camaro before purchase. My purpose for creating this thread is to get some friendly advice and post updates on any modifications.
Here's what I'm looking to do: 1. Add new wheels and tires (20" or 22") that are not flashy but enhance the appearance of the car and add to performance. 2. Have PDIM/USB input installed and programmed so I can listen to streaming audio through my iphone. 3. New headlights (maybe halos?) and tail lights 4. Cold Air intake 5. Exhaust I'll gladly accept any advice you guys can offer, tips on things to avoid and things I should consider adding to the list. Thanks in advance. |

Congrats on the car, and stay away from 22" rimes they will not help in adding to performance.

Thanks guys. I've read about the catch can. What is the best brand out there? I've combed through the forum and see that just about everyone recommends it.
On the rims, I was leaning more toward 20" anyway. I don't care for the heritage wheels at all, but I'm also not trying to make the car look outrageous. Can you recommend some reputable wheel brands for me to take a look at. I've never purchased aftermarket wheels and tires, so I'm experiencing some information overload. On another note, which modifications will void the warranty? |

Most people use the RX-Catch Can
And about the wheels, check out TSW and giovanni kilis rims, I'd personally say they are the two wheels that fit the camaro neatly and look amazing as well About the warranty I don't really know since I don't live in the states, sorry about that Hope I helped |

Thanks for the suggestions Silver. I'll definitely take a look at the RX and Elite catch cans and those wheel brands as well.

i believe the rx CC is still on a 6-8 wait time according to their site but my guess its probably longer.... Elite is no wait.

Thanks for the info. Is the RX worth the wait, or is there not much difference between the two?

No problem, but even if there was no wait, Elite all day long....so much easier to drain.

@ Silver- I've read about staggered wheels. What are the pros/ cons of going staggered vs. the same all the way around?
@ Lil- How's the install on the Elite? Is it something a beginner can handle? |
