Had a lot of fun today!! First time ever on a road course and it was a blast!!! A huge thank you goes out to Michael for being a kick ass host. Another shout out goes to the boys at MTI. Those youngsters know and love their LS engines and they are quick to step in to lend a helping hand!! Here are a few pics from today

The owner of this car was my instructor and a let me ride with during one his sessions in his group. This car was a lot of fun.

Ill check my gopro tomorrow and try to post some video. Battery died on me both times I used it so I hope something worth seeing came out.

The pics above look great. Had a blast and made a lot of progress with the help of my instructor. Hit 99MPH on turn eight right before straightening out on my best run. I finally got to where only the ZL1s and other supercharged Camaros were passing me.

I think the fastest I hit was 132 down the front stretch. I did see 1.25g's too.

out of all the passes we had...this was just a few I took (and kevin got a bunch too)......he and I both sat out on a turn and got some pics. With a dedicated photographer....could have had a TON of em. The track had a guy out there at the start/finish line snapping some...so hopefully I can find those on http://www.seat-time.com/html/main.htm

Awesome pics. Looks like the Boss was passing me on that run but I eventually caught him. He wouldn't give me a pointby for 2 laps. Fixed that a run later by not letting him catch me. He was probably a newbie like me but I had a blast.

My instructor pointed out him giving me a dirty look when we parked after a session. I asked him if they paid him to let me pass him. Don't know what mods he had but his tires weren't stock.

Great action shots guys. I had a great time meeting and talking with everyone and it was a stone cold blast driving the track. I'll try and post some video later.

And a special shout out goes to Michael, thanks for hosting a great event today and it was great seeing you again my friend. Remember what I told you, I want to be like you when I grow up. LOL

If any of the vids won't play (corrupted) I know how to get them to work up until it turned off. I've had the same problem before with it just turning off.
