Loose A-pillar trim piece

Has anyone else had the A-pillar inside trim piece pop out of position? Mine keeps popping out of position every 50 miles or so. I can see the air bag behind the trim piece and it appears there is a center connector/pin that latches the trim piece.

Many other post about it. Take it back to dealer. They have a updated clip to fix problem

Thanks....I was hesitating to take the car back to the dealer so soon to avoid the potential for unnecessary test drives by the mechanics. This sounds like a quick fix.

Molding does not even need to be removed to fix this... GM is doing 2 day shipping of the defective clip. Here's a thread with a picture of it. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26205

There is another thread out there with the bulletin and installation instructions.

Our passenger side fell the first day we had it. Quick fix at the dealer.

Passenger side fell down driving home the first day from the dealership. Not a good sign, but at least it was a quick fix with no hassles.

takes about a week to get the clips and about 10 minutes to fix, after that it is good to go
