Fan noise

Hey guys I did a search but found nada in this issue, 2014 SS with 8K on the OD, when the fan for heat/ac goes on low to med it makes almost like. Whistling cricket noise, once I turn the dial up it goes away till yet again when I start sweating and have to lower it. Anyone else have this issue? It seems ever so slight I don't know if it will be able to be fixed. Any out is welcome.

Have had my car since 1 mile and this never happened before until today

Trunz150,

Sincere apologies about the fan noise. I understand any frustration this causes. While I notice that you're seeking thoughts and opinions, you're welcome to send us a message for assistance with setting up an appointment for an official GM diagnosis. At that point, I'll reach out to the dealer's customer care specialist who is the point of contact for resolving customer/vehicle issues at the dealer level.

Im having the exact same issues with my 2012 and in the "problems" section on here, there's been tons of other 2010+ cars with this issue.

Mines going in on the 13th to get looked at.

I have this problem also. 1, 2 and 3 fan speed it's there, then just about goes away on 4 and gone at 5 and above. Dealer said no problem found. Pulled out after picking it up and brought it right back for him to listen. The tech came out and heard it so I'll have him fix it the next time. It isn't very loud but it is annoying.

I have had the same issue on my '11 but only in the early morning and not every day. When it does happen it is fairly loud. A definite squeak.

My friend had his fixed, they have to cut the motor out of the box and replace. Great part is the sound came back (I believe). Mine has same issue I just don't care about it as much. I think there is a TSB out on this from the earlier models.

I had this problem last year. I had a thread in the warranty section. I fought with my dealer to replace it. They said I was hearing things. finally they replaced it under warranty. I noticed yesterday that it's doing it again. It's the fan bearing that squeaks. I think the bearing can't handle cold weather.
