Has any used track addict or other telemetry apps they would recommend.

At the track, use Harry's lap timer to record data.
Record video with Sony (lots of people using GoPro, but I do not like the distortion)

Edit/Shorten video(at home) with something like Adobe Premiere Elements or Microsoft moviemaker.

Then export data from smartphone (I email to a laptop). I synchronize the data and the video plus add gauges in DashWare.

All of the above takes a little work, but the costs are quite low.

I think Harry's only works with Android. Is there an app for iphone?

I have Harry's on an iPhone. Works great.

Its the other way around. Harrys was only an apple option until a few months ago. There are three versions/levels which are all available on iphones. Only the basic level became available for android phone in august last year, the others will not be ready until spring or summer. If i had an iphone i would have harrys, everyone loves it. I have an android and cant find anything i like.

I used trackmaster first but and started fine but after the first half of the first session it started missing random splits and i never got the video to record.

i then tried racechrono in my neighborhood fine, it has no option for video though. But when i got to the autocross and set the splits the same as i did at home it didnt work at all.

Now i have aLapHD and torque to test. I wish harrys would finish the android stuff already, been dragging out forever.

Maybe it was Trackmaster I was thinking of.

I'll have to look into getting Harry's before May for my first HPDE!

TrackaddictHD is different than trackmaster. It looks like track addict is by racerender, i used racerender successfully for video editing. I didt run telemetry just rotated the image and edited the start and finish points but it seems good for a free program. Fyi, my camera is old and does not have hd.

Harrys website says march 2014 for petrolhead which includes video and logging of obdII via wifi, at least i think it includes the wifi stuff.

Where is the best place to buy the blue tooth OBD adapter to work with Harry's?

Ebay or amazon. I googled this once and found a site that compared some of the elm devises and included pics too. It shoed some were inferior and others perfomred well for the cheap cost.

I just bought harrys rookie and will test next Sunday at my next autoX. Petrolhead will be available later this month so that will be perfect for my trips to Sebring I have planned for summer.

Wow, your car is so quiet. But I do love the sound of rubber trying to grip on hard braking.

Jack Olsen The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same. Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different. I can't wait for my next Track fix.
