Amber color DRL? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Has any one thought of changing there DRL bulbs to amber colored, On my avalanche every one on the forum changed there drl bulbs to amber so we could know if you were part of the avalanche fan club.

Not considering though you made me curious.

The DRLs are PW13 - here's a thread to a previous discussion http://www.camaro5.com/forums/archiv...p/t-28336.html. I searched Google and didn't readily find any replacements.

For the non-RS fog lights -Per the owners manual page 9-41 the fog light replacement bulb is PS24W.

This website "eautoworks.com" has replacements in yellow, blue, purple and spark white http://www.eautoworks.com/search_eng...p?search=ps24W.

Unsure if state laws require the DRLs to be white or can they be another color?

I orderd the amber fog light bulbs(5202) from AAC, but they shipped me the wrong ones, should have the right ones by early next week

I like that we could all know who is who out there...
I have the AAC LED bulbs in mine...and I love them, or I would jump all over this.

But I will still wave to all of you when I see ya!!

Since you have an RS, you cant just change your bulbs, as nobody makes them yet, until next year, then they'll be pricey.

You can change the socket, then put any bulb you want.

Just put them in, AAC has really great customer service. They aren't as bright as i thought they would be, but who cares, they look bad-ass with just the fogs and park lights on!

in day light and at night they match and look perfect!

i would say they are a little brighter than the factory amber park lights. they look great with the fog lights on..........and NO heat what so ever

Another AV owner Here.
Amber's work on the AV not sure how they will show on the 2010
due to the differences of the RS lights (its is like Clad VS Non-Clad AV's)

I was thinking Ion in the fogs.
