Ok so let's hear it!!!

First off, this is a 2010 Camaro SS L99:

I took off stock exhaust, the resonater and mufflers. I went with a magnaflow tru x pipe (the free flow non resonated one) and straight pipes. Sounds good not that loud at all even at open throttle.

NOW:

Will there be an affect in gas mileage? ( in my opinion no, I still have the X Pipe to even the pipes out and balance the pulsing)

Will there be a loss of HP/TQ? (No right? Because again the X Pipe, and all the BP is created by the heads and the cats correct?)

Just did it today and also installed the Vararam Intake, Power Wedge, and super hips 8040 (91 Perf Tune).

Thoughts and opinions? I already know there are quite a few threads so please techy knowledgable mechanic guys respond

You have a L99 not a LS99. You won't gain much of anything

No I'm not looking to gain anything at all, I know with these motors and the set up with cats/stock headers no exhaust can really provide gains. Was just simply curious to hp/TQ loss and mpg loss thoughts

You won't gain anything from the exhaust....or lose hp or tq...the cai will help a bit as well as the tune...can you reduce torque management with your tune? If so you really gain from that.

What's your take on MpG? Should remain the same right? I'm using the tune to also remove the ANNOYINg AFM. It's driving me crazy and kills the fun of having this car lol

I will actually check into that, have never thought of that

You might gain a little extra mpg's because you removed those big, heavy mufflers.

People that have removed the afm have posted no real difference in mpg. I don't think it will change...yes the afm sucks ..tune that out

Yeah I know removing the AFM will not help with much other than the annoying noise. All I can is add some shorty headers, gains are only minimal between 8-12 max HP but I'm in Cali

From what I understand high flow cats are not emission legal either. Sucks.
