I'm interested in having some stripes painted on my IBM SS when I get it. If you have experience with painting cars or with having your car painted I'd be very grateful to hear about your experiences. Specifically, what should I look for in a paint shop? I'm worried about trusting someone to make a modification to my car. Also, what's a reasonable price to pay? If I were to have two stripes painted on, about the size of the GM vinyl ones, what would it cost?

Here is mine. $1300.00 I deal with this body shop all the time at my work so no problum with trusting them and I knew they would to a great job. Ask around the good shops will stand out, and so will the bad ones.
