It isn't on the camaro, as far as I know.
I think it is basically the same manual for a few different cars and they just put every option into the book so they don't have to print 5 different manuals when every book is exactly the same aside from 1 or 2 paragraphs. |

it's not an option this year... probably an option next year, if you look in rear window sill, there's a small plastic cutout where the indicator would go, looks like a future addition to me.

Yeah, I drive just fine without that kind of stuff. But some people just like to have it, I can understand when you might need it.

Easy to say for me because I parallel park multiple times a day... I will say that power mirrors are a heck of a rim saver!

off topic question, do the mirrors in the Camaro angle down when you put the car into reverse like the BMWs? I don't know what other cars do that, but that is friggin awesome.

There are usually 4 little round sensors on the rear bumper that emit waves. The wavs bounce off objects and return to the sensors. The sensors can then detect the distance based on how long it takes for the waves to return.
You asked... Very similar to adaptive cruise control except the sensors are on the front. I think this is a BAD idea. Will lead to people not paying attention and thinking "oh the cruise will just adjust of I get close to the car infront of me" Great, what happens if that car locks up the brakes, is your adaptive cruise going to react that fast... I think not... POW right into the back of the car infront of you! As for park assit on the Camaro, as already clearly stated, the Camaro does not have them. If you need part assist, have your old lady get out and make sure you don't back into stuff! JUST KIDDING!

Before taking delivery of my Camaro...I posted that the Camaro didn't need something like park assist and that they belong on SUV's.
BUT, after backing up in my SS/RS, I believe park assist would be a great asset for backing. With a little experience behind the wheel, you will be able to judge where the back of your car is going to end up and how far....... BUT, PA is really to help you judge what you can NOT see. Like maybe that parking pole that is in your blind spot or worse, that kid on his bike that snuck up on you. So now.....I digress!
