Don't park next to anybody

Somebody at my work has a 1LT IOM. Took a walk out to look at it.
Its VIN #6852. Must be the dealer launch car.
Anyway I noticed the miss matched looking paint of the front bumper in the sun then something caught my eye. A big old ding in the crease of the passenger door

Sheshhh. I swear when you have a new car people just whap there door out into it cause there jealous. Consciously or Subconsciously.

Be careful who you park next to. I plan on parking where nobody can park next to it or use two spaces. I've had this done to me with a new car. No fun!

And yes I know

I'll see if I can get some later on my phone. They won't be very good though.

I tried to get a good pic. I caught the reflection of the car next to it and its wheel got right in there so you can't really tell. I went to go back but the car is now gone. Was just a visitor.
Here they are anyway.

A lot of people are saying its because its on a different angle for the color difference but I made sure this was taken perpendicular to the same plane. See the difference

taking up 2 spaces will only make ppl more annoyed and more likely to ding your car on purpose. i don't mind if you take up 2 spaces way out in the back of a huge parking lot that isn't full, but if you are taking up 2 spaces close to the building on a busy day that is just going to encourage ppl to f*** with your car! i plan on parking near the back of parking lots and just hoping that nobody accidentally or on purpose dings my car.

I usually park in the the farther row in a parking lot. If anyone were to park next to me and I see them hitting my door. I will need someone to bail me out of jail.

Yeah, I find that you have to find a happy medium. Not out in the boondocks yet not right up front. And never take up more then one space, people will dick with your car on purpose.

You also have to watch opening the door itself- it is fairly long. I almost hit my motorcycle jack stand the first time opening the door in the garage.

Don't take up 2 spots, people in this world can be very spiteful. I recommend one of those end spots where there is extra room. I usually park closer to the other side since there is no parking spot on that side, and then leave a much wider space on the side with the other parking space. But yeah I would park in the back. So what if we have to walk further, lol.

My friend who has a Shelby GT took up 2 spots and I said to him Someone is going to spite your car just park it in the back.

Hate to say it but those type of people have no idea what they just did to you. They don't even know it happened. I know someone like that. :(

No excuses.

not very realistic that you would "never" have to park next to another vehicle....(especially here in So. Calif and add to that if it's your daily driver)....

use end spaces if available.....park at angles (sometimes invites the ass-hats), parking waaaay out in left field. These options aren't always available.

Sad reality.....You can almost group door dings in with paying taxes and dying....sigh.....!

Unfortunately, some people just don't give a darn. I am always careful not to ding someone when getting in and out of the car.......people aren't so polite back. Living in So. Cal it is really hard not to park next to someone but I am going to do my best not to!

Park in the far end of lots, but don't park so far back that people could get away with doing something because nobody is around.

I'm most worried about parking my lot in the church lot by where I work...lot of shady characters around the area.

Lot of walking. Park away.. still will be gwakers for a while.

I have a fantasy of a beat up 2010 Camaro in just cheap grey primer and battle scars all over. lol..

Sounds aweful but there is something satisfying to it in my fantasy.

I always park far.
No door dings + a little exercise

Don't take up two spaces.
Just asking for trouble!
