Hey guys. I just wanted to see if anyone is interested in coming to HOD on Sat, March 14th? I will be there running in the B group. It should be really fun this time as this is the full 5 mile course. I've run it when it opened last year once, as the pavement was still very new on the new section and it was blistering hot. HOD always does a great job and coaches are available at no additional charge.

CrystalRedTintcoat will be running on Friday and I plan to meet up with him during the day and then I will be running on Sat.

I will be trying the new hawk Street/Race compound pads out and the MPSS tires. This "may" be my only track day this year due to financial and other "reasons"...

Here is a video of me of one of the sessions (B group). I had to cut the video up into "parts" due to size, but watch it in HD. You get to see my poor shifting and pedal work and hear the hawk race pads. ;-P I got to play with two very fast Porches but the silver one I let him pass and he was too slow and neither were having very good "lines". The red TT was our instructor and he was video "reviewing" us and I let him pass too soon.

I need to get out to one of these Nor cal HOD events. I've never done any sort of tracking, but I really, really want to.

Mark G and I need to get our butts down there too. I'm getting a Brey Krause harness mount and bar and two harnesses put in on the 10th!

I was!! Fortunately I was able to go faster the last lap of this session but too bad it was the final lap. Gordon did review them and said they both were not driving well, and he was very disappointed in the "pro-driver's" performance in the silver car but that he was not there so they can pick on him. :-) He did not say anything negative AT ALL about my driving, only that I did an early point-by for him so I'm happy about that.

For some reason, the other sessions did not record at all. Again, I always seem to have issues with tech. I wish I had gotten them recorded but oh well. Guy said my tire settings were about as good as they were going to be for my driving.

Gordon also mentioned the fact that both Porsches would show off their power in the straights but not let anyone by. They were jerks.
