Just bought a Summit white 2012 camaro with v6 and automatic. I've owned many camaros in the past, but have been driving a '98 s10 blazer and an '06 Colorado for the past 15 years. My first car was a '77 camaro, followed by a
'79 Rs, '82 crossfire z28, '84 v6 coupe, '86 z28, '90 iroc convertible, and misc parts cars lol. Was 'domesticated' for the past 15 years, once she left I decided to do something for myself. Before I bought this 2012, I had never even ridden in or driven a fifth gen camaro. Still have never been inside a fourth gen....lol.

Lots of good information on this board, gonna take me a while to read up on all the 5th gen topics. A big thank you in advance to all the folks that contribute to this awesome resource.

I'm in Guthrie, ky. It's in the southwest portion, about 50 miles due north of Nashville. Less than an hours drive from bowling green. Reading the threads about camarofest now, seems like that would be a lot of fun.

Camaro Fest in August and then LSFest usually the first weekend of September. This will be my first Camaro Fest but LSFest was great last year.Hopefully you can come to one or both. You should look up Derby City Camaro Club or ours the Music City Camaro Club, we have members all around Middle TN and some up in Ky. I was really wondering where because we are originally from Ashland, over there in the North east corner of the state.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.
