Zl1 brakes on v6 camaro

Was searching and couldn't find much on this. Was wondering of anyone had info on putting zl1 brakes or cts-v brembos only a v6 I know the ss are almost just bolt on with a few trimming, but I was just curious because I have acess to some and wanted to see if I should pull the trigger on them if it's an easy swap

Backing plates, hoses, calipers, rotors, and caliper bolts. Easy as pie.

What about brake lines and the master cylinder? Did you have to change those? And how much was your total if you don't mind me asking?

I am using stock master cylinder and is fine, as others have said trim the backing plates on the rear and save a bundle.

I'm just worried about someone stating it may not brake at all due to lack of fluids because a it requires more

Not sure what they are saying, but you can install them on a V6 and they will work. The biggest issue is making sure you wheels have adequate clearance for the new calipers.

Good luck.
