What type of mufflers or Pipes?

I am trying to decide on my last mod. I love the sound of the 2SS camaro- but I would love for it to be a little louder--- like a true American muscle car "rumble". But I don't want to do headers and all the other type of real expensive and timely add ons. Just a nice set of pipes or glass pacs or whatever.

What would be your suggestion on Pipes or Mufflers?

Lots of people going with cat backs or axle backs and getting great sound!

Check this post for sound clips

I love the sound of my SLP Loudmouth(axle back).....there is no mufflers. Loud but not annoying loud. Only thing I don't care for is when you let off the gas/decelerate it pops. I have been told by a few on here that having the car tuned should do away with the pop. Some people like the popping though. I have only had them on the car for almost a week now and the sound gets the car noticed even more than before.....had a couple teen boys tell me today that I have one bad___ car. I just replied with my perm a grin and said.....yeah I do don't I!!

This decision is a no brainer. Louder, deeper Muscle car sound, BUT WITH NO DRONE!!

CLASSY PERFORMANCE!

SOLO MACH X Cat Back and THERE IS A GROUP BUY ON NOW!

If money is an issue try what i did. I did a muffler delete/straight pipe. It sounds very good and only cost me $60. Later, if i decide it might have the resonators removed and straight piped for a little more aggressive sound. Then if not satisfied i will put SLP Loudmouth II's on.

You must get a ton of Drone on the highway. The SOLO is an X-Pipe with a Single X-PIPE Resonator and straight pipes. ZERO DRONE, aggressive sound, and perfectly mirrored pipes all the way back.

I really wish you guys could all see it in person, SOLO may be a new name to THE CAMARO, but they have been in business for over 40 years! Top Quality stuff!

Thanks! Money is not a big issue- I just don't want to spend like 1400! - I can live with 250-400. I like the look of the stock pipes- just want extra rumble-- and I LOVED the sound of the s type cat backs--- so I was hoping that i could tell a muffler shop that i wanted it to sound like that and they could get close-- I def. don't want any popping! any idea or do you think that the muffler delete would achieve this?

SOLO

Quantum Axle-Back Exhaust Kit

GB Starting Price- $449 shipped to your door.

If 20 people order you get it for only $359.

Nice deep growl, no popping, and virtually no drone. Not as clean as the MachX, but very close for the money. A local Camaro5 member did the delete and has a very droney ride on the highway.

Doing a delete has been known to cause drone, which is not a good thing if you want to take the Mrs. for a ride and have a conversation. Our kits are drone free, well made, and affordable. We are new to the Camaro world, but have been a reputable business for 40 years. Our customer service is awesome, as we feel that is number 1 priority.

We have a group buy going on now, through 10/1. X_Micro SS posted the link above. You can'rt beat the pricing, and what you are actually getting for the money.
