Epco never disappoints! New shift knob!

Epco has some fantastic customer service! I really wanted a metallic silver to match the interior panels. They let me know that "metallic" isn't really something they can do, but she helped me settle on their "pearl" design. Ended up looking perfect!

The sun was doing a great job bringing out the silver pearl, but the glare covered up the 1LE - it's very crisp, finally got some 1LE branding since chevy forgot about that.

That is a proclip mount. http://www.proclipusa.com/

Comes in 2 pieces - the phone specific half, and the car specific half. They have 2 versions for the camaro, I tried both. The one in the pic works well for phones, the other mounts using the center dash speaker area. It would be a good spot for GPS, less useful for phones.

They had some "licensing" issues with the 1LE so it isn't on the site. Either call or email for that option, they have great customer service. The 2014/2015 have a set screw in the side. The chrome ring at the top of the boot is like a twistlock, give it like a 1/4 turn and it will slide down. The 10-13 shift knob literally pops straight off.

Couple of questions compared to the stock knob?

Height: Does it sit higher, lower or the same?
Weight: More or Less?
Any additional NVH? (Noise, Vibration, Harshness)

Thanks,
Matt

the ball + adapter is less total height than the stock knob. I was actually very surprised at the weight - it is very light! That's the one thing I would change if I could, and I actually may see about a "heavy weight" knob from them if I can get the same color combo. Not really any more NVH that I can tell.

Thank you! I'm curious what the weight delta is between the standard and the heavy weight knob.

I had the EPCO, nice product, finished very well.

The weight (lack there of) was a problem. The rattle drove me nuts. Ended up removing it, placing 2 dime size Dynamat peices on the shifter rod and placing the EPCO ball on top. I seek out noise in the car, I hate rattles with a passion. the Dynamat helped 99%, but still wasn't perfect. I switched back to factory
