LT Headers without screaming

I like the performance gains I'm seeing from long tube headers, but the ones I've listened to sound pretty darn loud at WOT. While I like the sound, I don't want to attract that much attention to the car. Can anyone recommend a LT header/exhaust combo that has a nice deep note without over-the-top screaming at WOT?

Not really, i have ARH longtubes and borla's but before the borlas went on I had ARH longtubes and factory mufflers and if was just as loud as it is now, which is very loud. Borla's just change the sound. Not sure but I think most or all longtubes ad alot of sound but don't be afraid of it, these cars are suppose to sound mean. Sound way to tame from factory.

The ARH w/ cats and magnaflow system I have isn't bad at all. Normal driving is pretty quiet and when you get on it it opens up, but isn't so loud you will go deaf .. I love the sound.

I have ARH LTs and stock mufflers and it's pretty loud at WOT. Raspy as hell, too.

How often will you be driving at WOT and not wanting attention?

magnaflow would be your best bet (steet series 3 mufflers) im sure its quieter then stock ...magnaflows are extra deep no hi frequencies http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...one=all&id=122

I have LTs and SLP Powerflow on my LT1 Camaro, it is not too loud. This car will have LTs and SLP Loudmouth IIs.

Yeah, this would probably be the best combo for someone worried about excessive noise.

You could always get some custom work done and add a couple resonators, which would quiet it down a little.
