I HAVE ORDERED MY CAMARO 1SS ON AUGUST 18TH 2009.
I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY INFO SINCE. ITS BEEN 2 MONTHS.
I WAS WONDERING WHAT THE 3000 MEANS. I DONT UNDERSTAND...
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP.

ALSO CAN I TRACK MY ORDER? I WENT TO THE CAMAROTRACKING.COM.
AND FOUND OUT THAT I HAVE TO ENTER MY ORDER NUMBER. WILL MY CAMARO POP UP THERE?

What dealership did you order from?

Here is what the codes mean since you are at 3000 your order had been accepted by GM for production. I figure 3-4 weeks you should see her.

1100, Preliminary order accepted
2000, Order accepted by GM
2030, Order re-edited (if necessary)
2051, Order changed thru Web
2500, Order preferenced
3000, Order accepted by production control
3100, Order available to sequence
3300, Order scheduled for production
3400, Order broadcast
3800, Order produced
4000, Available to ship
4104, Bailment Invoice
4200, Shipped
4300, Intermediate Delivery
4B00, Bayed

5000, Delivered to the dealer

Ordered mine June 19th, picked her up Oct 14. Once she reached 3800 and got the VIN it was about 2 weeks or so until she arrived.

Trust me I know how you feel. I ordered mine Jan.31 and picked her up June 26th. I was out of my mind. I called the dealer once a week. He told me don't worry. But, I didn't trust him. But, he was a good guy and ended up calling me when he saw it on the delivery truck. But, they tell you nothing. I was thinking that it got better about finding out about your car. I guess not. Good luck and I would keep calling.

If you're at 3000, you're well on your way. As far as camarotracking.com, since you are in a "pre-production" status, once you enter your info there, you must watch for Larry (2010 SS RS) to post the pre-production update, usually daily M-F, in .pdf format to see your status move up the line, 3100,3300,3400... Once you have a VIN assigned, event code 3800, then you check c-track.com daily to see what's going on with shipping your vehicle to you.

I ORDERED IT THROUGH GREENACRES CHEVROLET HERE IN WEST PALM BEACH AREA.

I DONT KNOW IF IT IS 3000. I JUST READ A BUNCH OF POST THAT PEOPLE WERE THROWING THAT NUMBER AROUND. I DO KNOW THAT THE DEALER TOLD ME THAT IT HAS BEEN ACCEPTED AND THAT GM IS BUILDING THE CAR.

I HAVE A PRINTOUT OF THE PAPERS THE DEALER GAVE ME.

WHATS THAT LAST NUMBER MEAN?
IM SURE IT'LL BE HERE BEFORE I KNOW IT.

to track your car you need the workbench #. It is a 6 digit # starting with "N" (Mine was NKJWCK)

You go to the tracking thread, under 3800:

and have the viz check it for you. he can give you info up to getting a VIN, but you need that 6 digit number. Or just ask your dealer what event code you are at. He can look just as easy.
