Shorties
Am about to 'invest' in a set of DT Shorties but,can anyone tell me what and why there is a benefit over the stock Camaro Headers?

The what: power/torque increase & slightly better sound, all while keeping the stock catalytic converters and their location.
The why: scavenging effect making it easier on the engine on the exhaust stroke, freeing up some power... Longtubes free up more power & have better sound (in my opinion) but messes with the catalytic converters and begs for a tune. Disclaimer: I don't have shorties, I'm just regurgitating what I have read about them on this forum. If anyone disagrees with what I have said, I yield.
