Nasty Curb Rash

I have a 2SS/RS with the Polished Aluminum Wheels... I will post a picture soon, but let me describe this to you...

I have unexplained scratches going across 2 of the "spokes" with the epicenter of damage located at the "knuckle" of the spoke where they meet near the Chevy sign in the center of the wheel. I think I'd know when I hit a curb... never had to parallel park this thing yet, or park near any curbs since I work and live where there are garages....

How might one take out these scratches? They are pretty deep.

Only thing I can think of is vandalism at Golds Gym in the parking lot.

the solution will most likely be to take the wheels and have all of the clear coat removed then if the scratches were into the wheel, them blended out, then have the wheels re clear coated...............but that is a lot of work, if it were me........I would have all for CHROMED.

They can be professionally repaired. Do alittle research and im sure you will find someone close that could do it.

Thanks for the advice people. Might have to just take this wheel off and find a specialist that can fix it... digging into my tire fund already!

Send a message via MSN to pinkcamaro10
I had to have one of mine repaired as well, I think it was $160.
