Gas Question

is there any difference if i use 87(regular) octane and 93(super)?...and im not 100% positive, but there's a gas station by my moms work, and it has super and then a higher grade, and i think it's 95 octane, has n e body heard of that?

are you talking about your LT?

if so, it's tuned for 87 octane, so you won't really see any benefit in using a higher grade. the SS models, however, are tuned for 91 (or 93 - can't remember), so using anything lower will resut in decreased performance

Yeah 87 is all you will need, unless you really feel like paying the extra 20 cents or so for the super. Sometimes people do that because they think it will get them way better fuel economy or way more power. Not in the LT's case. So unless you're one of those people who think washing your car makes it go faster, stick with 87 haha

The only real reason you could use a higher grade would be every once in a great blue moon you should stick 89 or 91 octane in there to wash away the contaminants from the 87 octane.
