I have 2013 LT2 does anyone elses heater suck???

My heater is just trash you cant even feel anything on the drivers side if you use the floor vent and then its ok if you use the normal vents is this just my car or is the heater in this car trash, My last caar was A 370Z and I never had a single complaint about the heater or anything, I am starting to regret this caar so much!

My heater could cook a human being in 15 minutes.

No issues here.

You talking actual temp of the air you have it set to or the amount of air coming out of the vents? Cause if it’s amount of air coming out of vents when I have it set to mid level vents, the amount of air coming out sucks. Very little air comes out. Where as my 2010 became a wind tunnel

My 2010 is like an oven, and that's despite the fact I am going to be changing the heater matrix soon.
So even with a blown matrix it should still be toasty hot.
What does your temp gauge read at operating temperature?

is this an airflow or air temperature issue? if it is an airflow issue then you need to replace the ac blower fan:http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=265265

if it is a temperature issue then you need to see if you are getting hot coolant to the heater core and if not you will need to add coolant to the radiator when it is cold.

still no heat? i'd take it to a shop.

is your eng even getting up to normal operating temp? If not, replace the tstat. Also, like a lot of statements here, check your coolant level as well, could be a little low, ok, a lot low.

If it's airflow problem, the first thing to do is check your cabin air filter.

Two Camaro gen 5 owner since 2010...bake taters on my dash...... Like he said check your cabin air filter and you may have a problem with a actuator for the trap doors of heating system and need to check over others posts in repair posts. but its a good heater unless your blower motor goes out and then ....OMG on a Camaro most pull the windshield to pull the dash...I mean I have seen a post or two over the years how to do it without doing that and its still a major pain.Good Luck. Hopefully its more your never changed air filter........

Mine gets hot before I even get to the end of the block. Then again, I live in the desert. LOL.
