Inspection

Got my camaro from NY with a NY inspection sticker. Though I live in NJ. Do I need to redo the inspection in NJ or can I wait til the current NY one expires?

Should've thought of this before i had the front windows tinted

I'm guessing that you still have the temp registration from NY for the car. Once you get your NJ registration, you will have to take it to a NJ Inspection station for the NJ sticker.

With the registration paperwork for the car, you should get a yellow form that state you purchased the car out of state. This form allows the inspection station to put the new car sticker on the windshield, that good for 3 years. They don't inspect the car, just put the sticker on the windshield, and do their paperwork.

Windows tint may be an issue. Hope this helps!

I'll bet that they make you put the windows up... I tried that once when a power windows switch went bad, and they failed the car...
