PLS HELP: Software Bluethooth Updated - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hello all,

Please I need your help, I have updated past friday my Nokia E90 software and now the voice function sometimes can't fint the contact and when it's found the call is interrumpted before the phone start the marcation.

I was talking with Nokia and they told me that the Camaro's software has to be updated, all the Nokia's bluthooth software are increasing the security requirements and the version installed in all the cars have to be updated too because we will loose the compatibility.

Can anyone confirm me if this is correct? If this is correct, can anyone tell me if this software is installed in other car of GM?

I am in Spain and in Madrid there is only 1 official service of Corvette, the other GM only works with European cars.

Hi Topo, not sure about my response but here it goes:

How long ago did you receive your car? There has been an update to the stereo software for a few weeks now, so maybe your car has the old software.

Can anyone else chime in?

Different firmware.

To be honest, I think Nokia is full of crap in this case. Have you tried re-pairing? Maybe codeman can chime in...

Camaro left USA in August, I think the fabrication month was in June.

I have paired, re-paired, changed the contact names, changed the phone name, i was close to launch the phone through the sunroof but i count 3 times to 10.

Is there any other GM model which use same software? I have to try to find in Spain other model of GM using same software to try to update it.

There are no software updates for the Hands-Free Bluetooth function which is part of the OnStar module.

The Nokia comments are not accurate. What software version do you have on the E90?
