BCM wiring
So I got to thinking, I saw a couple of DIY's about killing the DRL's, and having fogs come on at night, and all these guides are not using the BCM wiring.
Now I know on my Trailblazer SS we can splice 2-3 wires, and add a relay to the BCM to kill the DRL's, or kill the auto lights, or even have High+lows on at the same time. Wouldn't it be a simpler solution for the camaro to do this all in the BCM wiring rather then go to the headlights? Im sure all those functions are controlled by the BCM, and I have the wiring diagram for my 07 TBSS, cant be to far off from the new camaros. If anyone has a the BCM wiring diagram, post it up.. |

I wouldn't mind some more wire diagrams too.

I'd like to see ignition feed circuits and BC inputs and outputs.

I understand this is a very old thread, but I have a question and hopefully someone can give an answer... I have replaced my Halo lights with red LED rings 'demon eyes'. I love them and have used them for years. But recently I have needed to disconnect them because the police do not like red lights on the front of a civilian car.
I have found the +12 wire for each LED ring at the BCM right above the gas pedal. My Question is, can I bridge these into one SPST switch to manually interrupt them? Or should I get a DPST switch to keep the two channels separate? The two wires do not have continuity when switched on. But I don't know if it would hurt the BCM to bridge the two +12 wires. Thank you for any help/advice/thoughts on this... :-) |
