Our crank pulley has starting making a constant noise when running at idle. Has anyone else heard this and have you had it checked out or heard any comments on this issue?

I've had my 2LT for over six months and the only thing I hear at idle is the Direct Injection clicking, I've gotten used to it.

I' haven't heard the click but this is not a clicking, its more of a bearing whine.

not me, but then again, I got my tunes cranked most of the time...lol

How can be be so sure it is the crank pulley and not the belt tensioner not keeping the correct belt tension and causing the belt to squeal? There had been at least a couple of V6 camaros that had the belt issue.

Hmm mine does make a little noise as well when the roads clear up from the snow maybe I will have it looked at.. My friends v6 has the same idle noise as well.

if the belt is squealing, you don't have to drive the car to hear it. Just sit and idle and rev up the engine.
