My Story: Fastlane ZL1 Custom Turbo Kit.
Hello everyone,
my name is Tyler and I am an owner of a 2010 Camaro SS with the ZL1 Turbo kit from Fastlane in Houston, Texas. I have a story to tell all about how the people from Fastlane got my camaro back on track. I was looking for a turbo kit to be done in my car back in July and found a place, which will not be named here, and bought a custom fabrication from them. I was in Australia for awhile and came back and 3 months later I found my car in pieces...Also a bunch of paint chips missing from my car, WHAT!? I didn't ask for my money back all I did was get my parts and the parts I paid for. So I tow my camaro to Fastlane in Houston, Texas. They were glad to work on it, even with the engine all apart they fixed everything in 2 weeks of time and they put the turbo that I wanted on it! They touched up the paint that was chipped on my car and made it look bran new as if it came off the showroom floor once again. I was surprised how I was treated, the service surpassed any other performance auto-shop I've ever been to! They were even able to sell the parts from the other performance place for me on ebay and credited it to my account there at Fastlane. I've got pictures and videos [will post them tomorrow] of how my car now runs! It is awesome and I will say it was well worth the money spent!    One video! Note: I have traction control on, and because of that a lot of power is lost to the wheels.  haha But this thing has a load of power I will be posting a lot of videos soon.

That's what customer service is all about. Good job Fastlane!
Glad everything worked out for you in the end. I'm awaiting videos as I will have to live my turbo fantasy vicariously through you and others who had turbos installed. |

Man, that's one sweet ride. I was expecting more smoke and noise too, but that spool sounds like a jet fighter under load. Need to take one of acceleration from 30-*appropriate highway speed* from another car so we can hear that banshee scream.

Hold on I just uploaded 3 more videos, I did this all tonight because I was having fun with my new video recorder. I will do more when its daylight but we were documenting everyone's awe at the power of the car. It was definitely something to brag about because this car sounded like a "transformer" haha. It was pretty fun. I just want to acknowledge fastlane and their work and hope that people when they do want a turbo that they will go somewhere that has the credentials of doing a great job, and with me showing proof hopefully no one will ever have to go through the horror that I went through.
Here's the updated videos, some longer than others. Yet I was bored, but enough proof of the power. P.S. I am not a good driver and I am still learning to drive this beast. haha And my rear tires are dull with it being 10+k miles and I was foolish of doing burnouts then ya. haha Last edited by Sol; 12-16-2009 at 04:50 AM. |

Well you're doing the right thing. You should have fastlane put out a promotional video using your car or something. I was considering fast lane for a turbo kit, but they're too darn far away, I wouldn't want to pay for shipping there and back. Luckily I'm having forced induction installed before I even get the car.

I will post some better videos tomorrow, I just got my camera and it was dark outside, but thought I'd at least get some fun out of it that night haha. It is so just so exciting to drive haha. The adrenaline and rush when I drive it. haha
